Hi everyone!  My name is Paul.  I am a 14 year old high school scholar looking to start a 3D printing business using my innovative ideas.  Technology improves the community, and helps establish a more sustainable environment.

  My inspiration for this came when I was 7 years old.  My friend needed help navigating an Xbox he just bought and I spent a half day helping him set it up and tought him how to navigate and use the controllers.  I was actually paid for helping him understand the system.  I soon started helping all kinds of people fix their technology.  For instance, when I was 9 years old,  I went over one of my friends house to play on his Wii but it wasn't working properly,  so I analyzed the problem told him what was wrong and fixed it for him.  We were then able to play wii.  I was also selected by the administration at my middle school, to train other students on the use of their iPad.  I enjoy helping people through the use of technology and it comes so naturally to me.  I truly enjoy it!  I am now the go to person for any technical problems for all my family and friends.

  I’m contributing all my personal funds but there are expenses I can’t cover.  I'm currently working at a part time job over the summer to help fund the project.  The money will go towards the cost of a 3D printer, a dedicated computer, and materials for design of prototypes.

  A 3D printer works by laying down successive layers of material until the entire object is created.
